                               JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:-

(a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ
or order commanding the respondents to promote the
petitioner as Sub-Engineer (Ele.) with effect from 1-8-
2000 and grant all consequential benefits.

It is for the petitioner to approach the second respondent. In the

event of an appropriate representation being filed before the

second respondent within a period of one month from today, the

matter will be duly considered by the second respondent with

notice to the petitioner and appropriate orders in accordance with

law will be passed within another four months.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
