This is a petition for police protection. It is

submitted that there are some disputes between the

petitioner’s Samithi and the contesting respondents 4 to 6 and

the Deputy Range Officer is trying to settle the matter. We

are not expressing any opinion regarding the merits of the

disputes between the parties. However, police is directed to

see that law and order is maintained and when complaints are

received, take appropriate action according to law if the

allegations are found correct.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
