2. 14.07.2011 It is submitted that the petitioner was a general category
candidate at serial 23 for appointment under Advertisement No. 2 of
2004. The last candidate appointed from that category was at serial 22
but three persons appointed from the reserved category in the general
category do not meet the height requirements of a general category
candidate and therefore are not eligible to be considered for
appointment from reserved category against a general category
vacancy.
If that be so, the petitioner has a case to be considered for
appointment.
Considerable time has passed but no counter affidavit has
been filed. Counsel for the State submits that it shall be filed within two
weeks.
List for final disposal at the same position after two weeks.
