                              O R D E R

The petitioner has surrendered on

8.9.2006, as he was wanted in connection with

C.R.No.22/2006 of Excise Range, Thamarassery. He was

found in illegal possession of five liters of illicit arrack on

29.8.2006, by the Inspector of that Excise Range. He

could not be arrested on the same day, as he escaped.

Now he remains in judicial custody, as remanded by the

Court below. Considering that the petitioner is not

involved in any other case, as submitted by the

prosecution, and the duration of the judicial detention, I

grant bail and release the petitioner from jail, subject to

the following conditions:-

(a). The petitioner shall execute a bond

for Rs.25,000/-, with two solvent

sureties, each for the like sum, to the

satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate of

First Class-I, Thamarassery.

(b). The petitioner shall report before

the Investigating Officer, once in a

week, on every Wednesday, between

10.00 a.m and 11.00 a.m., for a period

of two months, starting from

27.9.2006.

The application is allowed as above.
