Dated this, the 5th September, 2008.
J U D G M E N T
The petitioners were students of B.Com degree (vocational) and
B.Sc Physics for the academic year 2005-2008 respectively. The 1st
petitioner failed in the subject ‘Banking Unit II’ of 4th semester and
the 2nd petitioner failed in the subject ‘Nuclear Physics’ of the 5th
semester. They submitted Exts.P. 8 and P9 applications for
revaluation. They seek expeditious completion of the revaluation
process.
2. The learned standing counsel for the University submits that
the University would require at least two more months’ time to
complete the revaluation process.
After hearing both sides, I dispose of this writ petition with a
direction to the respondents to to complete the revaluation process
for which the petitioners have submitted Exts. P8 and P9 applications
and publish the results thereof, as expeditiously as possible, at any
rate, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
judgment, provided the applications are in order in all respects.
