5 21.01.2011 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

the State.

The prayer of the petitioner is that the accused

of Maner Police Station Case No. 68/2010 be arrested

and the trees which were cut, should be handed over to

the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the

appropriate steps have been taken in connection with the

investigation of Maner Police Station Case No. 68 of 2010.

Learned counsel further submits that the investigation is

in progress. It is further submitted that as regards the

claiming of the possession of the trees, which were cut, it

will be open for the petitioner to take appropriate steps

before appropriate forum.

Considering the submissions of the parties, I

am not inclined to interfere with the matter. However, it

goes without saying that the investigation of the aforesaid

police case be completed expeditiously without

unnecessary delay.

The writ application stands disposed of.
