The petitioner is aggrieved by his non-selection in U.P. Police Constables
Direct Recruitment Examination-2009.

The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he belongs to
general category and according to the petitioner he has secured higher marks
than Naresh Kumar, a candidate selected in general category. Petitioner in this
regard has already made a representation dated 21.5.2010.

Learned Standing counsel submits that the aforesaid objection/representation
shall be considered and decided by the respondent no. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the
respondent no. 4 U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow to
consider and decide the aforesaid representation (annexure 7 to the writ
petition) or any other representation which the petitioner proposes to file
within two weeks from today. In case, any such representation is filed within
the time stipulated in accordance with law by a speaking order as
expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three weeks from the
date of production of the certified copy of this order.

Petition stands disposed of.
