In pursuance of order passed by this Court on 12.10.2009,

Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur, has submitted the

following report:-

“The challan in the above said case was presented

before this Court on 8.10.2008 and the charge was

framed on 15.10.2008. The statements of five

prosecution witnesses have been recorded and now

the case is fixed for 18.11.2009 for remaining

prosecution evidence. It is proposed that the

prosecution evidence would be concluded by 30th

January 2010. The defence evidence would be

concluded by 15th March, 2010 and the case is

proposed to be concluded before 31.3.2010”

As per the report, prosecution evidence will be concluded by

30.1.2009, and one and a half month is required for defence evidence.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that defence evidence will

be adduced on two dates from the date case is fixed for defence

evidence.

In view of the statement made by counsel for the petitioner,

trial Court shall make every endeavour to conclude the trial by

20.2.2010.

As earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed on

merits, therefore, no further directions are called for except that trial

Court may conclude trial.

With the observation made above, the present petition is

disposed of.
