Title: Introduction of the Poor and Destitute Agricultural Workers and Artisans (Welfare) Bill, 2009.
श्री शैलेन्द्र कुमार (कौशाम्बी): महोदया, मैं प्रस्ताव करता हूं कि गरीब और निराश्रितों तथा गांवों में रहने वाले ऐसे अन्य कृषि कर्मकारों और कारीगरों के लिए एक प्राधिकरण के माध्यम से कल्याण उपायों तथा मृत्यु अथवा स्थायी नःशक्तता के मामलों में प्रतिकर के भुगतान, वृद्धावस्था पेंशन, चिकित्सीय सहायता, महिला कर्मकारों और कारीगरों के लिए प्रसूति और शिशुकक्ष सुविधाओं के लिए एक कल्याण कोष की स्थापना और काम की शर्तों के विनियमन तथा उससे सम्बन्धित अथवा उसके आनुषंगिक विषयों का उपबंध करने वाले विधेयक को पुरःस्थापित करने की अनुमति दी जाये।
MADAM CHAIRMAN: The question is:
“That leave be granted to introduce a Bill to provide for welfare measures for the poor and destitute and such other agricultural workers and artisans living in villages through an Authority and establishment of a Welfare Fund for payment of compensation in cases of death or permanent disability, old-age pension, medical assistance, maternity and crèche facilities for the women workers and artisans and for regulating the conditions of work and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”
The motion was adopted.
