PRAYER: Writ Petition came to be numbered by transfer of Original Application No.5925 of 1998 filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, on abolition, transferred to this court and renumbered as W.P.37677 of 2006 to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's case for promotion to the post of Librarian Grade III in Kanyakumari District as per his seniority and as per Rules.

The petitioner seeks promotion to the post of librarian Gr.III as per seniority and Rules. At this point of time, it is not clear as to whether the relief sought for by the petitioner has been granted.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the representation was made on 20.11.1997 and if the said representation is not considered so far, the petitioner may be permitted to make further representation in continuation of the earlier representation to the first respondent.
3. Heard Mr. Sivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate.
4. Considering the nature of the relief sought for and the stand taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is given liberty to make further representation in continuation of the earlier representation for redressal of his grievance if any and such representation shall be considered and disposed of within three months thereafter. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
