Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing
Counsel.

Petitioner was working on the post of Revenue Inspector,
subsequently promoted to the post of Naib Tehildar in the year
1994. Petitioner after completion of eight years service, he was
entitled for selection Grade from 2002. But the same has not been
provided in spite of the repeated request and representations
submitted by the petitoner. The last representation submitted by
the petitioner is dated 26.11.2007. Petitioner retired from service
in the year 2007, but Grade has not yet been provided to the
petitioner.

I have considered the submission of the learned counsel for the
petitioner and perused the record. In view of the facts and
circumstances of the present case, this writ petition is being
disposed of finally directing the respondents No.2 to consider the
claim of the petitioner for providing selection Grade according to
law on the basis of the representation submitted by the petitioner
and may take decision within a period of three months from the
date of production of certified copy of this order before him.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

No order as to costs.
