                   W.P.(C.) No.5898 of 2010 (J)
             ---------------------------------
Dated, this the 27th day of May, 2010

                          J U D G M E N T

The petitioner’s grievance is regarding the delay in revising his

pension. According to the petitioner by Ext.P2, he submitted an

application for revision of pension, which was forwarded by the Sub

Treasury Officer under cover of Ext.P3 letter to the 2nd respondent.

It is stated that the 2nd respondent has not acted upon Ext.P2 or

Ext.P3, and therefore, the writ petition is filed.

2. From Ext.P3, it is evident that the Sub Treasury Officer

has forwarded the petitioner’s application for revision of pension

(Ext.P2). If that be so, there is no reason why the 2nd respondent

shall not consider Ext.P2.

3. Having regard to the pendency of Ext.P2, it is directed

that the 2nd respondent shall consider the same and pass orders

thereon. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible, at any

rate, within eight weeks of production of a copy of this judgment,

along with a copy of this writ petition.

WP(C) No.5898/2010
-2-

The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along

with a copy of this writ petition before the 2nd respondent for

compliance.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
