                                      ORDER

The revision petitioner, who is the accused in C.C.No.816 of

1997 in the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Mattannur,

stands convicted and sentenced. The revision petitioner has filed a

petition seeking to compound the matter. The petition is signed by the

petitioner and the complainant as well as the counsel for the respective

parties. The same is allowed. The matter stands compounded and the

accused is acquitted.
