                           JUDGMENT

The petitioner is a former employee of the Kerala State

Road Transport Corporation. He retired from service on

31.5.2008 on attaining the age of superannuation. In this writ

petition he seeks expeditious payment of DCRG and commuted

value of pension on the ground that he is bound to pay the sum of

Rs.2,00,000/- to his former wife pursuant to Ext.P2 award passed

by the Lok Adalat held by the High Court Legal Services

Committee on 31.8.2010. It is stated that the sum of

Rs.2,00,000/- has to be paid on or before 30.11.2010.

2. Sri.V.V.Nandagopal Nambiar, the learned standing

counsel appearing for the respondents, submits that in view of

Ext.P2 award passed by the Lok Adalat held by the High Court

Legal Services Committee whereunder the petitioner is bound to

pay the sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to his former wife, the Corporation

will take expeditious steps to disburse the DCRG and commuted

value of pension overlooking priority.

In such circumstances I dispose of the writ petition with a

direction to the respondents to disburse the DCRG and commuted

value of pension to the petitioner expeditiously and in any event within

one month from the date on which the petitioner produces a certified

copy of the judgment before the Managing Director of the Kerala State

Road Transport Corporation.
