Original Application No.8912 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying to direct the respondents to consider and promote the applicant to the post of State Deputy Conservator of Forests with effect from the date on which his junior was appointed to the said post with all the attendant benefits both service and monetary without reference to the charge memo in D.E.No.10/91 dated 4.2.1992 (Under Ref. No. 1921/91 A3) on the file of the 4th respondent 27.8.1997 issued by the 4th respondent. Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition.
