                  Cont. Case (C) No.1827 of 2008
                -----------------------------------------
Dated this the 12th day of August, 2010

                              JUDGMENT

Ravindran. J.

In view of the various interim orders passed by this Court

including the order passed on 7.7.2010 the dispute has now boiled

down to payment of the sum of Rs.6,363/-. The learned counsel

appearing for the respondents submits that the said amount will be

paid within two weeks from today. We record the said submission.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though this Court

had by order passed on 27.7.2009 directed the first respondent herein

to forward the pension book of the petitioner to the Pension Board and

to pursue the matter regarding payment of pension, the Pension Board

has not been able to take any action in the matter of payment of

pension for the reason that the pension book and related records were

not maintained up-to-date. It is stated that the Pension Board has

directed the respondents to submit the updated pension book.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the pension book will

be updated and furnished to the Pension Board within one month from

today. We record the said submission also.

Cont. Case (C) No.1827 of 2008
-:2:-

In the light of the above developments and the undertaking

given by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents we are of

the opinion that no further orders are called for in this Contempt Case.

It is accordingly closed recording the above undertaking.
