                              JUDGMENT

The prayer in this writ petition is for settlement of

timings and to issue regular permit to the petitioner. It

is submitted by the petitioner that pursuant to Ext.P1

judgment of STAT, respondent had granted regular permit

to the petitioner subject to settlement of timings. It is

stated that although current records were also produced

and the matter was placed before the RTA, on more than

one occasion, proceediongs for settlement of timings has

been adjourned and regular permit is not issued so far.

It is in this background, this writ petition has been filed.

2. As already noticed the permit was ordered to be

granted on 18.1.2007 by Ext.P2 and, therefore, the matter

is already inordinately delayed. It is submitted by the

petitioner that he is operating the vehicle on a temporary

permit.

3. Taking into account the submissions made, I dispose

of this writ petition directing that the respondent shall

settle the timings and issue regular permit to the

petitioner in the order of priority. This shall be done as

expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of

two months from the date of production of a copy of this

judgment.
