                            J U D G M E N T

The petitioner submits that he was a licensee to vend toddy

shop for the abkari year 1997-98 in respect of shop Nos.53 to 136

of Chavakkad Excise Range. According to the petitioner consequent

on Ext.P1 order passed by the Apex Court in Civil Appeal Nos.7844-

46 of 2009 he is entitled to be refunded more than Rs.1 crore. It is

stated that urging this claim he has submitted Ext.P2 before the 1st

respondent and that orders have not been passed thereon.

Taking into account the above, the writ petition is disposed of

directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2,

in the light of Ext.P1 order referred to above. This shall be done as

expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within eight weeks of

production of a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of this writ

petition.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
