Prayer

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying
for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction
the Educational Loan of Rs.1,01,500/- to the petitioner for his B.Ed., and
M.Ed., Course within the stipulated period.

:ORDER

Heard Mr.A.Haja Mohideen, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
petitioner, Mr.Pala Ramasamy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
respondents 1 to 3, as well as Mr.R.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate
appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned
counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 had submitted that, if the
petitioner makes an application before the third respondent bank, requesting for
educational loan, to pursue his M.Ed. Course, in PRIST University, Thanjavur,
the third respondent would consider the same, as per the prevalent Reserve Bank
of India’s guidelines and would pass appropriate orders thereon.

3. In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsel appearing
on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, since, no further orders are necessary in
the present writ petition, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
