Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was
driving the car, in which cash was lying, which was way laid by other two co-
accused and taken away along with money. The car was found abandoned. The
incident was immediately reported by the petitioner to the police and the company,
where he was working. The money has been recovered from other two co-accused,
who are in custody. The petitioner was involved merely on their statements,
otherwise there is no independent evidence against the petitioner. He is in custody
since August, 2008.
Be that as it may, without opining on the merits of the controversy, it
is directed that pending trial, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing of bail
bonds to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Rewari.
The petition stands disposed of.
