The petitioner has passed the Vocational Higher Secondary

Examination 2009 after undergoing the Vocational Higher Secondary

Course. The syllabus include study of domestic nursing theory and

domestic nursing practical. She had obtained A grade in domestic nursing

theory and A+ in the nursing practical. It appears that similar students like

the petitioner who have passed the Vocational Higher Secondary

Examination had moved the Government to prefer persons who studied

MLT nursing to join B.Sc nursing course. There was a further demand to

reserve all seats of B.Sc nursing to such VHSC students. The petitioner has

produced Ext.P2, a copy of the representation dated 06/02/2009 forwarded

to the authorities concerned in the matter. But so far no action has been

taken on Ext.P2 by any of the authorities. Therefore, the petitioner has filed

a further representation as Ext.P3 before the Government.

2. It is upto the Government to take a decision in the matter.

Therefore, there will be a direction to the respondent to take a decision on

W.P.(C). No.14360/2009
-:2:-

Exts.P2 and P3 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the

copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
