The petitioners applied for the post of Multipurpose Health
Worker (Male) in pursuance to advertisement issued in the year 2001.
Learned counsel submits that the names of the petitioners were kept in the
waiting list and as the entire selections have not been finalized as yet,
therefore, they are entitled to be appointed as Multipurpose Health Worker.
After hearing counsel for the petitioner, we are of the
considered view that the advertisement for recruitment of various posts
including 400 posts of Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) was issued in
the year 2001. The waiting list cannot remain effective after 7 years of the
issuance of the advertisement.
No merit. Dismissed.
