Heard Sri M. C. Shukla learned counsel for the petitioner and learned
Standing Counsel for the opposite parties.
This petition has been preferred by eleven petitioners who belong to
different districts and naturally to different units of the department. The
grievance may be common in nature but individual cases have to be
examined before granting any relief even as per the directions of the
court. The petitioners are demanding grant of pay scale of Rs. 1200-
1800 since 1.1.1986. The objection has been raised by learned
Standing Counsel that the status of the petitioners is not clear.
Accordingly, each case has to be examined on its individual merits. The
pay parity with the pay scale of ‘Work Agent’ can not be given without
confirming the present position of the petitioner.
Accordingly, the petitioners are at liberty to move individual
representation to the State Government stating their cases and if such a
representation is made through proper channel, the same shall be
decided by the opposite parties within three months from the date a
certified copy of the order is placed before them in the light of the
judgments passed by this court from time to time as annexed with the
representation.
With the above observation, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
