ORAL
ORDER

Heard
learned APP.

This
application for grant of parole was preferred by the applicant on
15.11.2010 on the ground that he wants to prefer appeal before the
Hon’ble High Court, which came to be rejected on 15.12.2010 by the
competent authority on the ground that opinion of the Police
Commissioner, Kheda was not favourable.

Being
aggrieved by the aforesaid decision, this Application is preferred by
the applicant, inter alia, stating that the applicant has to prefer
appeal before the Hon’ble High Court against the sentence of life
imprisonment imposed by the Additional Sessions Court and 2nd
Fast Track Court, Nadiad on 12.10.2010.

Considering
the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to
consider the application for grant of parole for a period of 10 days
so that the applicant can prefer appeal before the Hon’ble High
Court. The applicant is ordered to be released on parole for a
period of 10 days from 25.1.2011 on his depositing Rs.2,000=00 with
the jail authority, on usual terms and conditions and shall surrender
in time to the jail authorities without fail.
