By means of present writ petition, petitioner has prayed for a
direction to the respondent No.2 to prepare the fresh merit list and
hold the interview after treating the petitioner as O.B.C. candidate.

The writ petition is of the year 1999, it appears that by a lapse of
time no cause of action might survive. No direction as prayed for
can be issued on the facts and grounds so taken in the writ petition.
