This petition is for bail.
2. The alleged offence is under Section 379 of Indian Penal
Code. The petitioner is in custody from 23.4.2008 onwards. Though it
is submitted that the petitioner is involved in various theft cases, in
the light of the order in Crl.M.Appl. No. 3560 of 2008 and in the light
of the discussions held in the presence of learned counsel for
petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor, the petitioner and petitioner’s
brother, learned Public Prosecutor submits that in the peculiar facts
of this case, this petition is not opposed.
Hence, the petitioner is granted bail on the following terms and
conditions:
i) Petitioner shall be released on bail on his executing
a bond for Rs.25,000/- with two solvent sureties
each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the
court below.
ii) Petitioner shall report before the investigating
officer as and when directed.
Petition is allowed.
