The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has been working on daily

wages for more than ten years, his name has not been recommended for

empanelment in the district panel for his regularization in Class-IV post in spite of a

large number of vacancies in the said post. The petitioner made several requests and

filed representations before the concerned authorities, but till date no order has been

passed.

Learned J.C to G.P-II appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the

Deputy Commissioner, Dhanbad -cum- Chairman, District Selection Committee,

Dhanbad is the competent authority to consider the petitioner’s claim and pass

appropriate order and if the petitioner’s representation is still pending or if he files a

fresh representation, the same shall be considered and appropriate order shall be

passed.

Considering the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty

to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Deputy Commissioner,

Dhanbad -cum- Chairman, District Selection Committee, Dhanbad. On receipt of the

petitioner’s representation, the said respondent shall consider the same and pass

appropriate order in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of

representation.
