These applications are for regular bail. The common

petitioner, a woman, faces allegations in these separate crimes,

both under the Kerala Abkari Act. She was allegedly found to

be in possession of 1 litre of arrack on 30.9.2007 and 6 litres of

arrack on 8.11.2007. She was arrested and her arrest was

recorded in both the cases on 22.1.2008. She continues in

custody from that date. Except these two cases, there are no

other cases registered against the petitioner, reports the learned

Prosecutor.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays, the

learned Prosecutor does not oppose the said prayer on condition

that the Investigator is granted reasonable further time to

complete the investigation and I am satisfied that the petitioner

can now be directed to be enlarged on bail subject to

appropriate terms and conditions.
