The petitioner is working as Deputy Ranger in the

Department of Forests. His request to declare

satisfactory completion of his probation in that post

and for promotion to the post of Ranger has been turned

down by the 2nd respondent-Chief Conservator of Forests

by Ext. P5 order dated 2-2-2007. The petitioner has

preferred Ext. P6 representation before the 1st

respondent seeking to set aside Ext. P5 order and for

granting consequential reliefs.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that unless

directions are issued by this Court for early

consideration and disposal of Ext. P6, the

representation filed by the petitioner is likely to go

unnoticed.

3. In the nature of the above contention and the

nature of the order I propose to pass, notice need not

be issued to the 3rd respondent.

4. Heard Govt. Pleader for respondents 1 and 2.

5. There shall be an order directing the 1st

WPC No.6076 /2007 -2-

respondent to consider Ext. P6 on merits and pass

orders in accordance with law within two months from

the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of the

judgment and a copy of the writ petition before the 1st

respondent for information and compliance.
