Appellant had asked in his RTI application that, eligibility for TGT
(Maths), as per the Recruitment Rules, is maths with any of the two of the
following subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics,
There are other science subjects in the B.Sc. Maths combination which are not
included for the eligibility.

The First Appellate Authority ordered.
“Whereas Shri Anjaiah has preferred an appeal to the undersigned being the
Appellate Authority indicating to provide the list of PRTs who have B.Sc. Maths at
their graduation level with Science Subject which are not included in the eligibility
criteria for the post of TGT (Maths)
And whereas after careful examination of the appeal of the said Shri Anjaiah
and the particulars of PRTs/HMs received from the Regional office and Kendriya
Vidyalaya at Tehran, Kathmandu and Moscow for promotion to the post of TGT
(Maths) for the year 2008-2009, it has been observed that the particulars of the
following PRTs/HMs who do not prossess the requisite combination of subjects
prescribed in the recruitment rules and thus are ineligible for promotion to the post of
TGT (Maths), were received.” A list of eight names was provided.

authority thee were four other names. PIO is asked to check if this is true and provide a
final proper list to the appellant.

The appeal is allowed.
