The petitioner retired on 31.3.2009. He has prayed for a writ of
mandamus directing the respondents to give effect to the order
dated 11.12.2008 by which his basic pay was raised to Rs. 15,000/-
w.e.f. March, 2008.

Shri Tarun Varma has accepted notice on behalf of respondent
bank. Shri Mohan Srivastava appears for respondent-bank. He will
seek instructions in the matter within two weeks.
