Prayer: Petition filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to receive, consider and pass orders on merits on the petitioner's application, dated 19.1.2010 for grant of mini bus permit on the route Ayangudi to Kattumannar Koil Bus Stand Near via, Mela Kanjan Kollai, Keezh Kanjan Kollai, Sirukattur, Eechampoondi, Sandam, Thorappu, Renganathapuram etc., places.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for hearing and disposal.

3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the respondent is directed to receive, consider and pass orders on the application, dated 19.1.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned, the petitioner is permitted to submit the application, dated 19.1.2010, to the respondent seeking for the relief, as prayed for in the present writ petition, within a period of ten days from today. On receipt of such application, the respondent is directed to consider and pass orders thereon, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said application
The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
