                                      JUDGMENT

Petitioner retired on 31.1.2007 as Mechanic. He seeks out of

turn payment of Commuted Value of Pension and DCRG. He is stated to be

financially very poor and his wife and children are stated to be unemployed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the

petitioner’s daughter is proposed to be held on 5.11.2008. Ext. P2, marriage

invitation letter and Ext.P3, voucher from the auditorium are also produced.

2. I heard learned Standing Counsel also.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to

conduct an inquiry regarding the genuineness of the claim of the petitioner

and conclude the same within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy

of this judgment. If the claim of the petitioner is found to be genuine, there

will be a further direction to the respondent to disburse the entire amount

due to the petitioner as DCRG in accordance with law within a period of

three months from the date of conclusion of the inquiry. This direction need

be complied with if there is no liability to be satisfied by the petitioner from

out of DCRG.
