Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned
standing counsel.

The petitioner’s husband was appointed under the Dying in
Harness Compassionate Appointment Rules, which is a
mode of direct recruitment on 19.05.2008. Unfortunately, the
petitioner’s husband also died on 04.08.2009 and the
petitioner claims compassionate appointment.

Let, the claim of the petitioner be considered by the
respondent no. 2, who shall proceed to pass an appropriate
order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible
preferably within a period of three months from the date of
presentation of a certified copy of this order before him.

The writ petition is disposed of.
