11 25-08-2011 Heard Sri Arbind Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the

petitioner , Sri Faqruddin Ali Ahmad, learned A.C. to Standing

Counsel no.3, who appears on behalf of the Respondent / State and

learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent nos.2 and 3/

B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.

The writ petition was filed in the year 2008 with a prayer

to direct the Respondents to make payment of arrears of pension and

amount of gratuity to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the

University on instruction submits that for all admitted dues, a cheque

vide cheque no.418178 dated 24.08.2011 for an amount of Rs.1,

73,548/- has already been issued to the petitioner. Accordingly, it was

submitted that grievances of the petitioner have already been

redressed. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the

statement made by learned counsel for the University.

In view of the stand taken by the parties, there is no need

to keep the matter further pending.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
