Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel
appearing for the respondents.
The petitioners claim that they were appointed on contract basis on the post of
Chaukidar and subsequently their term was renewed for the year 2009-2010.
But, now the petitioners are not being permitted to work. Therefore, they have
approached the District Magistrate, but no action has been taken.
In such situation, this writ petition is being disposed of finally directing the
District Magistrate to consider the representation filed by the petitioners by
speaking and reasoned order within two months from the date of production
of cetified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
No order as to costs.
