Heard learned counsel for the parties and with their consent, this
petition is being finally disposed off.

Certain land of the petitioner was acquired but he was not paid the
interest amount and as such he had moved an application under
Section 28-A(3) of the Land Acquisition Act before the respondent no.2
which is pending since 2001.

Accordingly, this writ petition is finally disposed off with a direction to
respondent no.2 to take a reasoned decision after hearing the
petitioner on the aforesaid application within a period of one month
from the date of submission of a certified copy of this order.
