J U D G M E N T
Petitioner, who has completed her M.Sc General
Biotechnology Degree Course from a college affiliated to
the University of Calicut, had written the Fourth Semester
Examination held in September, 2008. Apparently,
dissatisfied by the marks obtained in one paper, she had
applied for revaluation. She is aggrieved that the result
of the revaluation has not been published so far.
2. I heard learned standing counsel for the
University also. There is no justification for the delay in
the publication of results of revaluation in respect of the
Examination held in September, 2008.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of
directing the 1st respondent to publish the results of the
revaluation sought for by the petitioner in relation to the
Fourth Semester Examination held in September, 2008,
as early as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment
provided the application for revaluation is in order and
otherwise correct.
