                        W.P.(C). NO. 24483 OF 2007
                               ---------------------
Dated this the 13th day of August, 2007

                              J U D G M E N T

Though learned counsel for the petitioner has raised several

contentions in support of his plea to quash Ext.P1 order of suspension

issued against the petitioner by the Government, I do not propose to deal

with any of those contentions in view of the limited prayer made by the

learned counsel for the petitioner at the Bar. He submits that petitioner will

be satisfied if an appropriate direction is issued to respondent No.1 to take

a decision on Ext.P8 reserving the right of the petitioner to urge all his

contentions before the said authority.

Therefore the writ petition is closed with a direction to respondent

No.1 to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 strictly on its merit and in

accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Needless to

mention, respondent No.1 shall ensure that petitioner is afforded sufficient

opportunity to be heard before any decision is taken in the matter. It is

made clear that I have not considered the merit of any of the contentions

raised by the petitioner in the writ petition. It will be open to the petitioner

to urge all his contentions before respondent No.1.
