(i) National Welfare Board for Seafarers
Title: Motion for election of one member to the National Welfare Board for Seafarers. (Motion adopted).
THE MINISTER OF ROAD TRANSPORT & HIGHWAYS AND MINISTER OF SHIPPING (SHRI T.R. BAALU): Sir, I beg to move the following:-
“That in pursuance of rule 4(i) of the National Welfare Board for Seafarers Rules, 1963, the members of this House do proceed to elect, in such manner as the Speaker may direct, one member from among themselves to serve as member of the National Welfare Board for Seafarers, subject to the other provisions of the said Rules.”MR. SPEAKER: The question is:
