The appellant had asked in him RTI application regarding M.S.W. Degree.
1. What is the minimum Eligibility (Academic) Age limit, Experience, for M.S.W.
Degree admission, procedure, documents MSW is available in which mode
wholly by Research /paper/both?
2. What is the Academic/Calendar schedule for current year 2008-09 and 2009-
2010? Cost of Application Form, Prospectus, mode of payment & in favour of
whom it is to be made, total fee, etc. for procuring by post.
3. What are the addresses of regional Centres/study centres in Maharashtra State viz
Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Aurangabad, Nasik.
4. What is the provision & rules regarding study material, theory, practical, seminars
and attendance regarding the same?
5. Whether prospectus & application Form can be obtained throughout year or in
particular month if so, in which month.
The PIO replied.
This is with reference to your letter dated 5th November, 2008. In this regard, it is
to inform you that the Eligibility Criteria for admission to Master of Social Work (MSW)
as publicized in the Student Handbook & Prospectus, is as under:-
“Bachelor’s Degree or a higher degree in any discipline from a recognized
University”
Student Handbook and Prospectus could be downloaded from the University’s
website (www.ignou.ac.in) or can be obtained from IGNOU Regional Centre, 1st Floor,
MSFC Building, 270 Senapati Bapat Road, Pune-411016 on payment of Rs. 100/- each.
Details of the Study Centres activated for MSW Programme are given in the
Prospectus.
