Facts
arising from the Complaint:
Mr. Ajay Kumar had filed a RTI application with the PIO, MCD, Town Hall on
06/08/2009 asking for certain information. Since the RTI Application was said to have
been refused by the MCD, the Complainant filed a Complaint under Section 18 of the
RTI Act with the Commission. On this basis, the Commission issued a notice directing
the PIO, O/o the Commissioner, MCD, Town Hall on 27/04/2010 to provide information
to the Complainant and further sought an explanation for not furnishing the information
within the mandated time.
Subsequently, the Commission received a letter dated 22/06/2010 from the
PIO/Dy. Director, MCD, Directorate of Press and Information, New Delhi stating that
information has been provided to the Complainant vide a letter dated 11/06/2010
forwarded by PIO/Dy. Municipal Health Officer (Coordination), MCD, Public Health
Department, Town Hall, New Delhi.
Decision:
The Complaint is disposed off.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
