Facts
arising from the Complaint:
Mr. Anil kashyap had filed a RTI application with the PIO, Northern Railway C & W
Workshop, Alambagh, Lucknow on 06/10/2007 asking for certain information. Since no reply
was received within the mandated time of 30 days, she had filed a complaint under Section 18 to
the Commission.
The Commission issued a notice to the PIO on 16/03/2009 asking him to supply the
information by 11/02/2009 and sought an explanation for not furnishing the information within
the mandated time. The PIO has informed the Commission that, reply to query no. 2 is provided
and information pertaining to the query 1 is sought from the Engineering Deptt/DRM office/Lko,
and the same has not yet provided. The PIO also informed that, the information will be provided.
Decision:
The Complaint is allowed.
The PIO is directed to give the information to the Complainant in query no.1 before 25 May,
2009.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties
