ORDER
Background
The Applicant filed an RTI Application dt.18.1.11 with the PIO, DRM Office, Eastern Railway, Sealdah
seeking information against six points including the officially recorded decision/opinion/file
notings/order from higher authority, if any, to disregard the circular (RBE No.229/2001 dt.21.11.2001)
while processing/transferring/sparing him and also the status of fraudulent transfers in railways. On
not receiving any reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.18.2.11 with the Appellate Authority. Shri
P.K.Saha, Appellate Authority replied on 28.3.11 stating that information was provided by Shri Anil
Kumar, PIO on 15.3.11 while enclosing further point wise information furnished by Shri S.S.Srinivas,
Sr.DPO vide his letter dt.9.3.11. Still not satisfied, the Applicant the Applicant filed a second appeal
dt.16.4.11 before CIC
Decision
2. On review of the documents placed on record and after hearing the submission by the Respondents,
I am of the opinion that adequate information to meet the requirement of the Appellant has been
provided to him. I therefore dispose off the appeal accordingly.
