ORDER
Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI Application dt.30.8.10 with the PIO, Mechanical Workshop, Northern
Railway, Amritsar seeking the certified copy of action taken, if any and its outcome report on his letter
dt.24.7.10 addressed to CWM Mechanical Workshop, Northern Railway, Amritsar. On not receiving
any reply, he filed an appeal dt.9.10.10 with the Appellate Authority and on still not receiving any
reply from the AA , filed a complaint dt.15.11.10 before CIC.
Decision
2. The Commission on review of the documents placed on record holds that the decision
pronounced in the case No.CIC/AD/C/2010/000342 dt.20.12.10 holds good in this case
too and accordingly directs the PIO to furnish the list of employees of Mechanical
Workshop, Northern Railway, Amritsar and members of NZRE who are being provided
the Income Tax Rebate under Salary Savings Scheme, to the Appellant by 11.6.11 and
the Appellant to submit a compliance report by 18.6.11.
3. The complaint is disposed of with the above directions.
