The Appellant had filed an application related to The Transparent and Corruption-Free
Functioning, Main Objective of the RTI Act.
In pursuance of the office order of dated 15-02-1994, twenty three (23) Assistant Sanitary
Inspector were promoted on the post of Sanitary Inspectors. Uniquely, four (4) ASIs from
General Cadre and nineteen (19) ASis from Schedule Caste cadre were promoted effecting from
29-07-93, with immediate effect and on Ad-hoc basis respectively.

The respondent has given the “Seniority list of the Assistant Sanitary Inspector” as asked at
query 1 and the appellant contends this is fake. The appellant has another list of 2005 where
some of the data is reported differently. The appellant is not able to give any concrete evidence
of his allegation.
Decision:
The Appeal is disposed.
To allay the appellant’s misgivings the PIO is directed to give an inspection of the relevant file to
the appellant.
