Background
1. The Appellant filed his RTI application dt.22.10.07 with the CPIO, DRM, WR,
Mumbai. He wanted information about date (in figures and in words) on
which the orders of O.A.No.1030/95 of Hon’ble CAT-Mumbai was
implemented by the Railway Administration. Not satisfied with the reply
dt.22.11.07 provided by the CPIO (Copy not in file), the Applicant filed an
appeal dt.6.12.07 with the Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority
replied on 31.12.07 providing additional information. Aggrieved with the
reply, the Applicant filed a second appeal dt.19.3.08 before the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing for May 11, 2009.
3. Mr. Ramachandran, DPO & CPIO, Mr. Anil Kr. Jha, ADRM(T) & Appellate
Authority and Mr. Mangesh S. Pednekar, CI/BCT represented the Public
Authority.
4. The Appellant was not present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The Respondents handed over their comments dated 8.5.09 during the
hearing. The Commission directs the CPIO to share the same with the
Applicant. Perusal of the information provided revealed that all information
has been furnished to the Appellant.
6. The appeal is disposed off.
