                                        ORDER

Mr. Devnandan Prasad, the Appellant, filed an application dated
13.2.2008 under the provisions of RTI Act, 2005, seeking information regarding
payment of pending bills of Shri Umesh Prasad Singh, a contractor. The PIO,
H.Q. Koyala Bhavan, vide letter dated 9.3.2010 referred the matter to PIO,
Putkee Behari Area for furnishing a suitable reply to the Appellant since the
matter related to CPIO, Putkee Behari Area. The Appellant however, preferred
to file an appeal before the FAA, H.Q. The FAA, H.Q. vide its decision dated
27.4.2010 held that PIO has rightly transferred the RTI application of the
Appellant to PIO, PB Area under intimation to the Appellant.

During the hearing the Respondent submits that the RTI application has
been transferred to the PIO under intimation to the Appellant, however, the
Appellant instead of filing an appeal before the FAA of the concerned PIO, PB
Area has preferred to file an appeal before the FAA, H.Q.

After hearing the Respondent and on perusal of relevant documents on
file, it appears that the CPIO, PB Area has not replied to the Appellant. The
Commission directs the CPIO, Putkee Behari Area to provide requisite reply to
the Appellant within 15 days of receipt of this order. The CPIO, H.Q. will forward
a copy of this order to the concerned PIO within 5 days of reeipt of this order.

With these directions the matter is disposed of on the part of the
Commission.
