Facts
arising from the Complaint:
The Complainant had filed a RTI application with the PIO on 08/02/2011 about details of
demolitions undertaken from 15/01/2011 to 21/01/2011. Since he did not get any information from
the PIO, he filed a first appeal on 12/03/2011. Since there was no response from the FAA, and he
had received no information, he filed a Complaint under Section 18 of the RTI Act before the
Commission on 25/05/2011. On this basis, the Commission issued a notice to the PIO on
31/05/2011 directing him to provide the information before 25/06/2011.
The Commission is in receipt of the submissions of the Respondent of 22/06/2011 stating that the
information had been sent to the complainant on 07/03/2011. He also sent a copy of the speed post
receipt by which the information was sent.
Decision:
The Complaint is disposed.
The PIO appears to have provided the information within time.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
