                                                          ORDER

Background

1. The  Applicant  filed  an   RTI   Application  dt.14.3.11 with the PIO, Delhi  Police seeking  information 

against seven points with regard to his complaint dt.18.5.07.   The APIO HQ vide letter dt.16.3.11 

transferred the RTI Application to the PIO, South East District, Delhi Police and the PIO, Northern 

Railways HQ.  Shri Jayant Kumar, Dy.CVO, Northern Railway HQ vide his letter dt.18.4.11 informed 

the Applicant that his application received from the Police HQ has been forwarded to DRM Office, 

New Delhi and advised the Applicant to contact them for the information.  On not receiving any further 

information,  the Applicant filed a complaint dt.22.5.11 before CIC

Decision

2. The Commission on perusal of the submissions on record directs the PIO to forward a copy of this 

Order along with the RTI Application and the copy of the complaint to the PIO, DRM Office, New 

Delhi with the direction to provide information on the action taken on the complaint dt.18.5.07 to the 

Complainant.     In case, no  action has been taken, the Complainant to be informed accordingly. 

Alternately,   the   Complainant   may   also   be   allowed   to   inspect   the   relevant   files   on   a   mutually 

convenient date and to provide him with attested copies of the documents  identified by him during 

inspection,  free of cost.   The entire exercise to be completed by 21.11.11 and the Complainant to 

submit a compliance report to the Commission by 28.11.11.

3. The complaint is disposed of with the above directions.
